Our Asia Pacific headquarters in Singapore, established in 2003, serves the region with a multi-disciplinary engineering team specializing in process, mechanical and electrical disciplines, ensuring our customers receive locally supported, expertly delivered solutions wherever they operate.

WK systems are engineered to comply with international industrial emissions regulations and safety standards, with in-house design, fabrication and control system integration carried out at our Wetzlar manufacturing facility. Each system is configured to the specific process conditions of the application, with thermal efficiency, destruction performance and operational reliability as the primary design criteria.

THE WK COMPANY HISTORY
OUR MILESTONES
1959
WK is founded in Wetzlar, Germany, establishing the engineering and manufacturing roots that define the company today.
1972
WK delivers its first thermal oxidizer, marking the beginning of a specialized focus on industrial air pollution control and combustion technology.
1986
WK completes its first oxidizer and energy recovery system for the Asian market, signaling an early commitment to global project delivery.
2003
WK Asia-Pacific Environmental Pte. Ltd. is established in Singapore, creating a dedicated regional headquarters to serve the growing Asia Pacific market.
2004
WK Systems, Inc. is established in Irving, Texas, extending WK’s engineering and project delivery capabilities into the North American market.
2016
WK AP-China Environmental Co. Ltd. is established in Shanghai, further strengthening WK’s presence in Asia and adding licensed expertise in surface technology through the L&E technology partnership.
2019
WK acquires ROTEC GmbH in Radebeul, Germany, expanding in-house engineering capabilities and technical expertise in the European market.
2020
WK Systems India Private Limited is established in Chennai, completing WK’s presence across the key industrial markets of Asia Pacific.
2024
WK joins CECO Environmental, a leading environmentally focused industrial company serving air, water and energy transition markets worldwide, strengthening WK’s global resources, reach and capabilities while continuing to deliver the engineering excellence customers have relied on.
