VOC Abatement Systems

WK’s industrial air solutions deliver thermal oxidizers, catalytic oxidizers and proven VOC abatement systems for the full range of industrial exhaust treatment applications. From catalytic oxidation at 300–450°C to high-temperature regenerative thermal oxidizer systems operating up to 1,000°C, WK systems destroy volatile organic compounds, hazardous air pollutants and complex process streams. 

Where energy recovery is a project objective, WK’s thermal oxidation systems can be configured with heat exchangers, steam generators, thermal oil circuits and other downstream recovery equipment to return thermal energy to the production process.

WK-TNV

Thermal Recuperative Oxidizer

Direct-fired thermal oxidation with metallic heat exchanger recovery. Lower capital cost, straightforward maintenance. Gas-fired, LPG or electric heating options.

WK-RTO

Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer

Up to 96% thermal efficiency. Self-sustaining from 1 g VOC/Nm³. Demonstrated capacity to 250,000 Nm³/h. 3-can and 5-can configurations.

WK-CTOx

Catalytic Oxidizer

Oxidation at 300–450°C, lower fuel consumption and inherently reduced NOx versus thermal systems. Recuperative and regenerative configurations available.

WK-RC-RTO

Adsorber-Wheel + RTO

For large exhaust volumes with low VOC concentrations. Zeolite concentrator wheel reduces volume up to 30:1 before RTO treatment. 

WK-RC-TO

Adsorber-Wheel + TNV

Concentrator wheel paired with recuperative thermal oxidizer. Lower capital cost than RC-RTO for applications where exhaust characteristics favor recuperative technology.

WK-Incinerator

High Temperature Oxidizer

For VOCs combined with inorganic components and toxic substances requiring temperatures up to 1,000°C. Waste liquid and waste gas co-firing. SNCR and SCR integration available.
