WK’s thermal recuperative oxidizer is a direct-fired TNV system engineered for reliable, continuous VOC destruction and industrial exhaust treatment across surface coating, automotive, pharmaceutical and general industrial applications. Delivering up to 99.9% destruction efficiency, the recuperative oxidizer recovers heat through a metallic heat exchanger. This design produces a robust system well suited to applications where exhaust composition, concentration or contaminant characteristics make a recuperative approach preferable to regenerative operation.

Choosing the Right Technology
The TNV and RTO both achieve high destruction efficiency for organic compounds, but they are not interchangeable for every application. The TNV is typically the preferred choice where the exhaust stream contains components that would foul or contaminate ceramic heat transfer media, where lower capital investment is the primary constraint, where the exhaust volume or concentration makes the additional thermal recovery of a regenerative system harder to justify economically or where the operational simplicity of a non-switching system offers reliability advantages for the specific facility.
The RTO delivers higher thermal efficiency and greater total energy recovery, making it more cost-effective over a 20-year lifecycle in continuous, high-volume applications with stable exhaust streams and significant process heat demand on site.
